When Deryk Wenaus was 22, a transformative LSD experience sparked a lifelong journey into the mysteries of the mind. This journey led him across the world, from meditation retreats in India and Japan to Buddhist studies in Nepal to drinking Ayahuasca in the Peruvian jungle. Over time, this spiritual exploration softened Deryk’s heart and deepened his understanding of the human experience. For the past 30 years, he has cultivated a personal relationship with meditation and psychedelics, attending hundreds of retreats.

Professionally, Deryk’s passion for spiritual growth is mirrored in his role as co-founder and CTO of Retreat Guru, a company dedicated to helping others on their spiritual journeys. Today, he lends his experience and support to the team at Synthesis, combining his spiritual and practical knowledge in a purposeful way.
